Northern New York student wins national music essay contest!

I grew up in rural St; Lawrence County, NY, near the Canadian border. Recently, my mom shared with me an essay that a local tenth grader in our area wrote, an essay which reads more like poetry, and won a national contest. I hope Amanda Mason from Parishville-Hopkinton Central Schools won’t mind that I made something a bit artistic from her poem. Way to go, Amanda! You make the North Country proud! AB

Welcome to Dare to Support Rockers Who Care!

We believe in promoting the many musicians who devote their time to worthy causes, and who show appreciation and love for their fans.  You’ll see a number of rockers and bands being featured on this website.  The Sarzo brothers, Robert and Rudy, will be prominently featured as animal rights activists, and for being the most kind-hearted and friendly musicians we’ve ever met in person.  Nikki Sixx will also receive much love on this website, as his personal story (chronicled in The Heroin Diaries and This Is Gonna Hurt), along with his music, has inspired Laura and I to overcome our own life challenges.  Stay tuned for a LOTS of information to come on a wide variety of deserving musicians!  We DARE to support those rockers who care about more than just achieving fame and fortune; we OURSELVES are also rockers who care!  Angela Bisnett
